The week is winding down...

Well - Cathryn and I are finished doing makeup now for Grease. It was a sold out crowd tonight. Nothing brings out people like a musical! I only wish the people in town would branch out a little and support different types of theatre too - but maybe in time. It seems if they recognize the name and they know its got catchy tunes in it, they will come out in droves!

All that said - the kids did a great job. I was so proud of them. A lot of them had been at a track meet until an hour before show. We had a bit of chaos doing makeup, hair and costumes on half the cast minutes before the house opened - but we managed. Good on 'em. They pulled it off and did really well.

Makes me a bit excited about doing makeup for the fairies in Midsummer Night's Dream. I have already started designing the makeup and I tried one out on Avery the other night. I would like to add three dimensional aspects to the faces of the fairies - so that's going to take some practice and figuring out. And if I'm going to help train someone to do my designs then we are going to have to work on it pretty soon. I'll have to arrange to get together with the fairies sometime so that I can practice a bit. Then I can do some ordering for speciality makeup as well.

Tonight while we were talking, Cathryn mentioned that Denise had noticed I was limping and asked what was the matter. Huh....I thought I was walking ok - but I guess even my 'ok' walk isn't really normal anymore. I hope that I get into the MS Clinic sooner rather than later. I sure would like to get an answer already.

Today I spent the day stamping with some other demos. We made some really great projects - now I just have to plan my next couple stampers nights.

Hopefully the weather will be nice this weekend (ie - no wind!) and I can get the garden planted. I always aim to get it planted by the end of May - and that's coming up quick. I don't really have the energy for a garden this year, but I feel guilty not putting anything in. I think I will cut back quite a bit though. Maybe peas, carrots, just a few tomato plants and potatoes. Its amazing how much my energy level has dropped.
