Deep breath

So - the last couple weeks of posts was me, is me, the innermost, ugliest, pulling myself up by the bootstraps - me.

but this is me too. (we needed a bit of a comedic break I think...)

And trust me...I really don't look anything like this. I'm young and thin and gorgeous (but really - aren't we all?). I do think when I look at these photos though that I look a heckuva lot like my father. It makes me shudder because he was a very handsome man but he would have made an ugly woman.

Actually - this is Grumio from Taming of the Shrew (my version of Grumio) and I really love her. I've described her as the kind of woman who when she opens her mouth, flies might come out. But she's loyal and a lot of fun to play.

This is what I've been doing with my life the past three months and we have one more weekend of shows and then I get a break for a bit.

On an OT kind of subject - I got a freaking appointment letter in the mail today for the VEPs on my eyes at the end of August that the MS doctor ordered. For bloody sakes I'm so sick of having tests and more tests and then different tests. For two years now, there hasn't been a stretch of more than a month and a half (maybe) without an appointment to see a doctor or have a test done. Sigh. SICK TO DEATH OF IT!!! You'd hope that it might end at this but it doesn't b/c I'm booked to go for a Field of Vision test in October and then back to the opthamologist in November. I'm also supposed to see the other optham again in October but I think I'll cancel that appointment and just stick with the other one. ugh...ugh.

And one last thank you to everyone for reading about my Gabriel. He was a special boy and I am grateful for such a place to honour him.

One last chuckle...

:-) Comic relief is a good thing. I didn't know you were doing Shakespeare! Wonderful! The second photo is (for me who's never seen the play; only read it) exactly my vision of Grumio. Very cool. Thanks for posting these!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you were born to act, woman! GREAT pictures. And I can attest, you really *are* a gorgeous, thin young thing :)
