Checklist:

Thanks to my hard working husband - some of these things have now been completed. He got a lot done yesterday and then I came home last night and we worked until it was too dark to see what we were doing.

1. Rotortill the vegetable garden - check
2. Plant the vegetable garden - maybe on Sunday?
3. Spray around the trees and bushes - didn't bother, pulled the weeds instead
4. Mulch the remaining trees and bushes - done the bushes, don't know if we'll do the big trees
5. Move the three trees in the flower bed - plan for this afternoon
6. Fertilize the grass around the trees - not yet
7. Spray the remaining driveway - check
8. Mow around the caragana - check (except K did manage to knick a couple of the bigger ones and we had to perform an emergency 'electrical tape' intervention on them)
9. Cut back, spray and mulch the flower beds (BIG job) - sprayed...now today I begin
10. Plant annuals - eh, who knows when or if I'll get to this
11. Sweep deck - maybe I'll make the kids do this
12. Get gazebo roof fixed and put it up - check
13. Wash windows - not yet
14. Finish tilling the south pasture - nope. but the rotortiller is back from being fixed so there's hope!
15. Plant the south pasture with oats and grass - hmm, asked him to pick this stuff up and I don't know if he actually did
16. Get the pump and sprinklers running - check
17. Spread manure in the south pasture - hahahaa. this is done - great story. another day.
18. Spread dirt to cover the alkali in the northwest pasture and plant - nope. big ugly job...and it rained for five days last week too so its even more of a mud bog
19. Fertilize the lawn - not yet but it needs it. lots of winter kill
20. Clean the pond and get it up and running.- K's job. nasty.
21. Spray the rose garden, fill the beds, change the sprinkler heads in the beds, plant the beds. - sprayed last night...that's the first big step
