Its 2008
Yes - its a new year.
I'll admit. It didn't start off too happily. But - that's a whole 'nuther story and I'm sick of telling it.
So! Things I'd like to improve on this year:
1. Criticize less. My kids, my husband, myself.
2. Relax. Take life as its laid out for me.
3. Stay off the computer when I am using it to hide from things. (like laundry or cooking supper or homework with the kids)
4. Exercise - in a way that makes it part of my lifestyle. Not in the way I normally do which is useless.
5. Take time every day to be grateful.
6. Pray more. It can never hurt.
7. Find time to spend with each of my kids alone. Get to know who they really are. Don't sleep through their days.
8. Enjoy my husband. I would miss him if he wasn't there.
9. Write some letters. Send them. In the post - not the email. There is something incredible about seeing someone's handwriting.
10. Connect with people I don't see very often. Phone them. Say hello. Ask how they are.
