Today I accepted a new position with my employer and I am really happy about it. All that stuff I couldn't talk about I can at least *mention* now.

Yay! I wanted to say this after the clothes-shopping spree, but figured I couldn't trust the hints THAT much... :--)

I can't wait to hear exactly what the new job is. Administrative something? Why the new clothes?

ah - the new job...well, I'm a Lab Information Systems Support Specialist. Its a promotion and its off the bench (no more taking blood or dipping urines or other such stuff) so I have to get out of my scrubs.
Essentially I work with our computer system and provide support to all the regional sites. I have some travelling to do regularly but it'll be worth it for the trade off - no evenings, weekends or call and I'll be home every Christmas and Easter!

:--) Sounds wonderful. It also sounds like, with the physical unpredictabilities you've been experiencing, this might be a little more flexible. Anyway, I hope so. Congratulations again!
